Mariya + David | A Celebration of Love and Jewish Tradition

Mariya and David’s August wedding was full of love, laughter, and beauty. They brought their picture-perfect vision to life at Century Barn Weddings, blending Jewish traditions with a relaxed outdoor setting outside of Peterborough Ontario. From the stunning florals to the thoughtful wedding favours, every detail was full of personality and care.

“Thank you to everyone and Century Barn for making our dream wedding come to life!!! We will cherish this experience forever,” Mariya shared after the celebration. “The stunning venue and wonderful team made the day go so smoothly. I never thought my wedding day would be so stress-free.”

From the very first glance, guests were welcomed into the most romantic setting. The bridesmaids glowed in flowing green dresses that beautifully complemented the natural surroundings and floral decor. It featured white blooms with lush greenery, creating a timeless and serene aesthetic that brought the entire barn to life.

Touches of charm were found on every table, guests were gifted sweet jars of honey — a meaningful wedding favor symbolizing love and the sweetness of new beginnings. It was one of many thoughtful details that reflected Mariya and David’s warm, intentional approach to their day.

In a celebration that honored the couple’s Jewish heritage, the Hora dance brought an electrifying energy to the reception. As music filled the barn, Mariya and David were lifted high on chairs by their guests, surrounded by a spinning circle of family and friends, hand-in-hand, laughing, and dancing with uncontainable joy. It was a moment of pure celebration — a highlight that echoed with love and tradition.

“Brooke, Joon, and the rest of the staff were so flexible and accommodating with our requests, which honestly made my job as the bride so, so easy,” Mariya shared. “The Century Barn staff made our day so easygoing — I never imagined feeling this relaxed on my wedding day.”

“Forever a core memory,” Mariya later said, and it’s easy to see why.

As night fell over the Ontario countryside and laughter echoed through the barn, Mariya and David were surrounded by the people who mean the most to them! — celebrating not only their marriage, but the beginning of a life built on love and shared joy!
