The 100-year-old architecture features original beams and a soaring ceiling with chandeliers for lighting up any event or party atmosphere you want to create. Gorgeous chandeliers, twinkle lights, and natural elements add sparkle to every corner of the space and accentuate the historic charm and beauty of the barn. The seating capacity is 140 which makes Century Barn the perfect destination whether you are planning an intimate celebration or hosting a larger wedding!
Bridal Suite
Imagine your perfect day – now imagine it in a space tailored just for you. The 600-square-foot bridal suite is located within the barn and provides an intimate setting where friends and family can prepare for the big day together and an incredible backdrop for your “getting ready” photos! The ensuite washroom adds an extra layer of comfort and convenience.
Ceremony Garden
The ceremony garden is a stunning element of our wedding venue. It’s the perfect space for an intimate, outdoor ceremony, located right beside the barn. This dreamy ceremony site is surrounded by gardens filled with flowers and natural greenery. The rustic arbour can be left in its natural state or decorated to suit your personal taste and style!
Courtyard
The courtyard is conveniently located adjacent to the ceremony garden. This space is perfect for hosting your cocktail hour and comes complete with hanging lights, an on-site bar location, wine barrel cocktail tables, casual seating, and is surrounded by plenty of green space for lawn games.
Our Iconic Wings
Almost twenty years ago, a neighbour and family friend asked if she could have her wedding at our family farm – in the barn! While preparing the barn for their wedding, the bride painted the iconic wings on the barn doors. The wings are a symbol of love, hope, and happiness, which we wish for all of our couples and guests.
Loft
We’ve got an elegant barn full of space for your guests to enjoy! The loft overlooks the main reception area and dance floor and provides a bird’s eye view of your whole event. It offers a comfortable lounge seating area and an additional spot for great photos.
North Garden
This picturesque 3-season perennial garden is a beautiful place to take photos of you, your wedding party, and family and friends who have traveled from near and far to celebrate with you on this special day. With its lush greenery and mature perennial flowers and tall grasses, this unique feature looks stunning in every season.
Hillside View
Let the rolling hills of Cavan take your breath away! With 100 acres of fields and forest surrounding the rustic barn, it is truly an awe-inspiring view for our newlyweds. Take in the sunset as your photographer captures intimate moments of you and your loved one in this perfectly scenic backdrop.
Bonfire Lounge
Enjoy all the charms of a country wedding venue by planning for a bonfire at Century Barn! Our firepit is one of our most popular features and offers a scenic lounge area during the day while adding a fun, casual element to your event as the evening falls. Grab some s’more kits and enjoy the starlit sky!
Bars
A cold beverage is never far for your guests. During the cocktail hour, we provide an outdoor bar in our adorable courtyard, adjacent to the ceremony garden. When guests move inside the barn for the reception, they’ll marvel at the beauty of our indoor bar, hand crafted from re-claimed barn beams (of course!).
