Century Barn Weddings is a family-owned and operated wedding venue located in Cavan. We take pride in providing couples with a charming and beautiful setting for their special day. Our team is dedicated to creating unforgettable experiences for our clients and their guests. We also strive to provide a positive and supportive work environment. We are looking for a Content Marketing Coordinator (Seasonal) to lead the development of video, blog and social media content that showcases our brand. This role blends storytelling, visual content creation, and marketing coordination. The successful candidate should be able to work about 30 hours per week from June to September.

Key Responsibilities

  • Pitch creative content ideas that align with brand goals
  • Attend weddings to capture live content
  • Plan a monthly content calendar in collaboration with the venue team
  • Track content performance (views, reach, engagement) and suggest improvements
  • Organize and manage a digital content library for use across marketing channels
  • Develop and maintain a publishing calendar, ensuring timely delivery of blog posts, videos, and social media content
  • Write engaging captions that reflect our tone and complement video or photo content
  • Highlight the personalities behind Century Barn (team members, vendors, couple stories) to create a more human brand presence
  • Use SEO best practices in blog writing to boost search visibility
  • Write engaging blog posts (1–2/month) on topics such as planning tips, real weddings, venue features, and behind-the-scenes stories

Skills and Qualifications

  • Strong writing skills with the ability to create clear, engaging, and brand-aligned content
  • Experience creating and editing short-form videos using apps like CapCut, Canva, InShot, or similar
  • Solid understanding of content marketing and what performs well on social platforms
  • Self-motivated, organized, and comfortable working independently
  • Creative eye and interest in weddings, events, or lifestyle branding
  • Outstanding organizational skills and detail-orientation skills
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and projects
  • Sense of ownership and pride in their performance
  • Team player and self-starter
  • Great interpersonal and communication skills
  • Ability to perform job functions with minimal supervision
  • Ability to walk and stand for long periods of time
